Remember Me Pillow

In 2003, I was looking at Texas cable at 3AM, while sewing.  I  listen, to a couple whose son was killed.  They described their son's service to country with words of; America, Honor, Choice, Freedom, and Commitment, while tears rolled off, yet they got the message across.  I knew they were “Remembering things from his past”.   I didn’t know them, I wanted to offer a shoulder to lean on, I couldn't.  Then I wanted them to rest their sorrow on a pillow.

I know everyone has the opportunity in this country to choose their career, direction and future.  Some of us choose the military and serve our country, in hopes of a new tomorrow and a chance to represent and serve our country.

While, I cannot keep the family from their sorrow, I can let them know their soldier is our hero too!   I ask the family to accept my passion as a token, in honoring their loved one.  Gone, but not forgotten!

As JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country."  This is what I can do for my country. I enjoy sewing.  I love what I do and I can do this forever, with GOD's threads of life and my sewing, one awesome Remember Me Pillow!

The pillows are custom made in the United States, by a Native Texan, proud American, there for a Texican!  Individually made one at a time with American Pride!

Remember Me Pillows are to;

* "Remember Me ... when I was ...", 

*I want you to hug the "pillow" every time you "Remember Me".  I am here for you to hold.
